Vladimir Guerrero had 2 base hits and 4 RBI at SBC Park as the RICHARDSON
HOWLERS won in dramatic fashion coming back to beat the Karval Giants by the
count of 5 to 2.
 
RICHARDSON came through with the game-winning runs in the top of the 9th
inning as they scored 4 runs on 3 base hits.  The critical plate appearance
was by Guerrero who silenced the stadium when he doubled with all three
runners coming home.  Derrick Turnbow was perfect in relief and gained credit
for his 6th save.  
 
The win went to Aaron Fultz(4-0) who allowed 1 run in 1 inning. Dustin
Hermanson(0-1) was the loser in relief.  He pitched 1 inning and surrendered
3 hits and 2 walks.
 
'I pin this one on my own shoulders,' Hermanson said. 'The bottom line is I
didn't get the job done.  Our fans deserve better than this.'
